My husband and I would highly recommend Angie for special needs/autism parent consulting. When my son got his autism diagnosis, it felt the world just stopped for us; even though we were expecting the diagnosis and waited 8 months to make it official. It’s something about being handed a paper with that diagnostic code and recommendations for 30+ hours a week of therapy that just makes you want to curl up in a ball on the floor. Other than recommendations for ABA, speech, and OT; we were given nothing else to navigate this new journey. What’s available in our area, who can we talk to, is there anything else we can do other than therapy? We had so many questions and spent many hours trying to research and figure out what the best options were for our son. Thankfully our speech therapist recommended Angie, an autism mom and special needs advocate whose been there. We called and set up a time to talk that week. We had pages of questions and she patiently answered each one. She told us about a new school, new therapies, and other types of treatments that we had never heard of. She had the contact info for the best practitioners and therapists. We left that phone call feeling empowered and positive for the first time since our son’s diagnosis because we now had a plan and knew who to call. I believe the most important thing you can do after you receive a diagnosis is to talk to someone whose been there and already knows the best resources. Angiedid that for us and we highly recommend her to anyone that wants to do everything possible to help their child.

“When our grandson was diagnosed with autism, our world filled with fear and worry. My friend suggested that we contact her granddaughter, Angie Auldridge, who was also working her way through the mysteries of autism. When I spoke with Angie, she was very receptive to all of my questions and understanding of my worry. She answered questions such as how important it is to receive a diagnosis as soon as possible, where to go for diagnosis and many resources for help. Over the years I became aware of how much knowledge Angie had acquired through study and research. Angie not only fights for her child she also fights for every individual in need. She is a wonderful person full of information and willing to share all she has learned.
